When are we going to decriminalize marijuana so we can run our cars on hemp oil, and stop using paper?

There are countless textile, medical and industrial uses for hemp. When are we going to take advantage of it?

"Make the most you can of the Indian Hemp seed and sow it everywhere." -President George Washington,

I like the idea of decriminalizing marijuana…but too many people act like hemp is the cure every disease and solve every problem in the world.

sounds good to me but we could start by making hemp completely legal marijuana suitable for smoking can come later.

i saw a documentry of a native american who grew hemp and how he was raided several times by the dea, this weed had like no thc in it.

the guy above me has a point but fails to understand how much we can do with it.

Even George Washington knew this so what’s the problem? The DEA.

Sorry mate but the only reason the government will decriminalize marajuana is so they can tax it and make it a government run drug like alcohol to make it safer for users and so they can get rid of all the small time weed dealers and create jobs in factories(government grow ops)

There is a misconception as to marijuana and hemp. Though they are of the same plant species hemp will not get you high. Industrial hemp and common hemp is not marijuana.

Excellent question. Hemp is rapidly renewable.

After the last tree has been cut down,
after the last river has been poisoned,
after the last fish has been caught,
then will you find that money cannot be eaten.
