Hemp is pot, cannabis, marijuana. This is not top quality stuff one wants to smoke for a "buzz". It is used like cotton (natural) one can make a lot of things from it. Shirts, pants, hats, necklaces, rope, shoes, you name it!

hemp is the parts of teh Marijuana plant which do not contain THC and are useful due to their sturdyness. Make rope and clothes.

hemp is made from the cannabus sativa plant and can be used for rope and clothing. There is also a really good lotion called "Malibu Hemp Moisturizer which is made of THC free virgin hemp oil. Makes the skin silky smooth

Hemp is a natural fiber like cotton or wool, derived from a particular plant. The main controversy is the plant its from is marijuana. Hemp is made from the tall stalks (not the leaves). Hemp is strong even when wet, and has a lot of uses from making rope to weaving into cloth.

Hemp is a form of marijuana. It is the fibres derived from the plant itself, and is used in many things including the making of long-wear clothing. One thing, the plant that they get hemp from is not the exact same type of plant that is smoked.
