Hemp Seed Oil experiment idea

October 13th, 2009 | by admin |

I would like to clarify a few misconceptions about the video that seem to persist…

I am using High Grade Organic Hemp SEED Oil, not oil from any of the medicinal Cannabis strains, and from the seed, not from the leaves or buds.

I was inspired to try this on the suggestion of my husband after seeing the Run from the Cure video about Rick Simpson which if you haven’t seen it I highly suggest you take the time to.
People seem to think I’ve been misleading because I called the oil I’m using hemp oil. Hemp does not have the same THC or Cannabinoid content as other forms of cannabis such as the Cannabis Sativa and Indica strains. Indica being what Rick used to make the oil to successfully treat Cancer, and which had been used medicinally historically up to the point which it was made illegal. Rick used the oil made from the bud more commonly known as HASH Oil, not hemp oil.

All oil derived from a hemp plant is real hemp oil, be it from the seeds, from the leaves or the buds.

This video was purely to highlight the diverse nature of cannabis as a whole and to expand the experimentation of various applications of the various oils that come from the family of hemp plants.

Thanks for all the great feed back, I appreciate your comments and the obvious care that so many people have for this topic.

For an update of Bill C-51 it has returned as Bill C-6 and is just as bad as the last! Stand against it, write your MP and tell then to say NO to C-6!

This doesnt make any sense. What are you doing? You need THC oil to help ailments. Hemp seed oil is very nutricious, and its great for the enviorment., but you have to stop beating around the bush, we need to legalize THC, its the only cure for society.

    Cannabis/Hemp could …
Cannabis/Hemp could provide the entire world with food, shelter, clothing, soap, fuel, paper, biodegradable plastic, insulation, and medicine. Plastic bags and containers could all be replaced with hemp, since it contains a high amount of cellulose. Hemp seed contains a high level of Omega 3,6,9 along with all 10 amino acids and more protein than soy or whey. It is also more digestible.

I bought a small 8oz bottle for $10, of organic hemp seed oil, a few weeks ago.

I also bought a bottle of hemp seed oil capsules that i’ve been taking, 1 a day, for about 10 days.

I haven’t used the oil yet, but from what i’ve read, it is more beneficial when consumed, instead of as an ointment.

Hemp seed oil, and also most oils, aren’t really good for cooking, it’s best consumed cold or uncooked, in salads and other foods, or just taking a spoonful a day.

I believe a tincture or cream would be more useful and successful.

I eat hemp seeds and use the oil in my diet, I don’t have the time to go into all the of the benefits and I imagine for everyone the effects and time it takes to notice will be different. But as far as the seeds go you may notice right away, you’re less hungry, have more energy etc… There are many good sites you can google to find more info on the benefits of hemp in your diet.

I gave up on the experiment for various reasons, I ran out of the oil I was using and was unable to find more of the same, and it was leaving big oil stains on all of my tops.

It did help a little, it appeared to reduce the spread and inflammation of the rash for a short time but it returned after I ceased using the oil. I found it to be an imperfect treatment in various ways, it doesn’t absorb easily, it sits on the skin for a long time, etc…
